Waiting and waiting...

Where is my test?? Why hasn't it come? It's been over 2 months now, it was only supposed to take a max of 6 weeks. I just want to know either way. Even if it was positive at least then I could start planning. Positive or negative? Natural or preimplantation genetic diagnosis?

The testing lab emailed me back about the preimplantation genetic diagnosis procedure saying that they don't do it there. They only do blood tests and prenatal tests. They gave me the email of their genetic counselor, saying if I needed it, she could help me. If they don't do it, that must mean that I have to go to the U.K. or Italy. They were the only other places that even did the testing for this, never mind the egg screening. That would be expensive, I doubt insurace would cover the travel expenses.

I think I'm going to call the lab soon and check on the test. It shouldn't be taking so long...
